Fellows of the Michigan State Bar Foundation

I had a great time attending the annual Michigan State Bar Foundation reception in Grand Rapids and meeting other Fellows. Pictured above are Charles Rutherford, Chairperson (and my former Dykema colleague), and N. Otto Stockmeyer, Distinguished Professor Emeritus - Western Michigan University Cooley Law School.

Per the Foundation's website (www.msbf.org), "[t]he Michigan State Bar Foundation’s Fellows Program recognizes Michigan lawyers for their professional excellence and service to the community. The Fellows Program was established in 1984 to recognize distinguished lawyers and support the Foundation in providing leadership and grants for improvements in the administration of justice and the delivery of civil legal aid to the poor. Fellows contributions have totaled approximately $1.9 million since the programs inception. Fellows are elected by their peers."
